Francis Chan
January 30, 2009One of my fellow elders gave me a CD message by Francis Chan after our recent retreat. If you don’t know Francis you should…no you must! Francis is one of the most transparent, open and honest preachers of the scripture that I have ever heard. He challenges my heart. Here is a brief youtube of Francis speaking at a conference.
WOW! I just discovered pastor Chan a few days ago. He doesn’t fit the preconcevied mold of a John the Baptist type preacher who doesn’t cut corners and beat aroung the bush, but….there he is.
What a breath of fresh air blowing upon our comfortable orthodoxy.

I read Chan’s book Crazy Love recently. The first three chapters were fine, about committed Christian living, our awesome God, and examining your life.
