A government worker’s strike in Chad has recently expanded to include those in the health care field. People needing treatment now have to find private hospitals and healthcare providers which are few and far between in one of the poorest counties in the world. This new development has increased our patient flow at the Jordan Health Center in Dono-Manga. People are now coming from 25 to 30 miles away to Dono-Manga because they have heard of the health center. Sadjinam Nestore, hurt badly in an automobile crash 16 miles from Dono-Manga, was brought by friends to the health center where he has been stabilized and is responding to


A doctor from the nearest Catholic Hospital is now making regular visits to our health center to assist our nurse in treating patients and is also providing consultations on some of the more difficult cases.
